Prakash Community Library

• The Membership card will be valid for a year and monthly fees as set by the library will be charged for borrowing books and taking other services.
• Membership card is non transferable and only the cardholder not withstanding any dues can borrow the books.
• Borrowers must leave their membership card to the librarian when borrowing books.
• A book can be borrowed for duration of 7 days.
• Borrowers returning books after due date will be fined as per rule.
• Borrowers will not be allowed to keep the books for not more than 15 days.
• Books must be returned in good conditions and for any damage/loss the borrowers will bear the damage charge/cost of the book.
• Membership will be terminated if the members violate the rules and regulations of the library.

General Library Rules: 

• Silence should be observed in the library and reading room.
• Seats in the library cannot be reserved.
• Eating, drinking and smoking are not permitted within library premises.
• Library staffs have the right to ask anyone causing disturbances to leave the library.
